Markets

Where we launch, and where we are still working

A stablecoin product is only real in a country when three things line up: a local rail we can pay into, a licensed partner who can move that money, and a legal position we can defend. All three are published per market instead of claiming a map.

What a market has to clear

We add a country only when all four of these are true. Most requests never get that far, and that is the point.

A rail that reaches real merchants

The domestic scheme or bank network a shop already uses, so paying Janehub needs no new hardware and no new habit.

A licensed settlement partner

Someone authorised in that country converts and delivers the local currency. Janehub never holds the merchant balance itself.

A defensible legal position

A written view of what the asset, the product and the marketing are permitted to be in that jurisdiction.

Verification that works at scale

Company and user checks strict enough for the regulator and fast enough for a shift supervisor on a Friday night.

What each label means

No launch dates on this page. The label is the commitment; the date goes out only when the cohort opens.

Launching first · Q1 2027

Indonesia · Singapore · Thailand · Malaysia

A partner is contracted and the compliance review is closed. These four open with the first cohort in Q1 2027 — listed here before the date, not after.

In build

Philippines · Vietnam · Brazil · Colombia · Peru · Kenya · South Africa

Partner in integration and legal review. Not available to any customer yet.

Research

Cambodia · Argentina · Nigeria · Tanzania

Still answering the hard question — usually capital controls or licensing — before promising anything.

How a market moves from research to launch

Four gates, in order. A market cannot skip one, and a skipped gate is why a page says "research".

Legal review

A written position on the asset, the product and the marketing, reviewed with counsel in that country.

Partner

A licensed payment or settlement provider contracted, with the responsibility split defined in writing.

Integration

The rail connected, merchant payout tested end to end, and reconciliation proven under failure.

Cohort

A limited business cohort opens, with published fees and a support path that answers.

Why some markets say "research"

We would rather publish a short map than a long one. Capital controls, licensing categories and tax treatment differ enough that "launching in fifteen countries" is usually a claim about a logo rather than about a product. Where we cannot answer the four questions above, the market stays research.

The legal position in every market

Digital assets are not legal tender in any market listed here, and nothing on this site describes them as such. You hold a stablecoin; your counterparty receives ordinary local currency through a licensed provider. Where a jurisdiction restricts the marketing or settlement of crypto assets, Janehub does not offer there — and this page says so.

Janehub is not yet offering products in Markets. This page is published for planning and research, and is not an offer of service in Markets.
